At this moment, I am typing to you from one of the computers in the 2nd floor computer lab in the school's library.
At this moment, I am full *burp*.
At this moment, I am happy.
Why?
Because I am alive, I am "living out my dream" (Cheraton's expression LOL), I am doing well at school, I found an on-campus job with a great boss and flexible hours and I am loved.
Wait... a thought just occured to me... Syndy and Barry (Foxxy and BDA to those TSers) should be on their honeymoon right now? Or am I being previous? I just realized that I have not seen Syn online in ages. *grin* Now I am even happier... if I am being previous, I don't care...CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!! I love y'all to bits and hope everything is going/went well. I will call as soon as I can.
Anyway... I have friends people... one of my co-workers, Stephanie, (now my friend) offered to take me to the grocery on the weekends whenever I need to go... she said her bf/fiance would not mind. *grin* I was telling her how I feel so badly sometimes to ask people for rides or whatever because I don't wanna be one of those "beggy beggy" people. If you offer to take me then it's different.
Oooh... I forgot to mention something guys... PLEASE pray for my former workplace - the Hilton Kingston. They suffered about US$2M damage thanks to Ivan. What a great time for all that damage... sigh... I hope things make a turn for the better...

Yes people... back to last night...
I went to this club called Oxygen in Coconut Grove with Tony, Katisha, Audrey and Traci. We got there at around 1am this morning and when we got to the door, we were greeted by a sexy looking drag queen. LOL. He looked hot by the way...
Anyway, when we got inside it was already banging... (btw, once you're 21 and over you're FREE... look into it people!) they played great music (the Jamaican artistes would be horrified to hear their music being played on gay night at any club lol) and there were some hotties in there.
We left at around 3 or a little after...
Man... Tony SO reminds me of Jonathan... I miss him SO much.
Anyway, I'm off to a barbeque!

I had an excellent weekend!! *grin* You already know how it started... so let me tell you how it ended.
So yesterday, Tish's friend Tony comes to visit from West Palm Beach (Northwood University) and brings his friend Audrey. We end up going to get some food at Mickey D's and then coming back to FIU... then, we went to a GAY club in the Grove! How great is that?
I had a BLAST... anyway, details later. Gotta jet!

Anyway, I had to evacuate school ONCE again... *roll eyes* but this time I did not go by Dr. Conley. I ended up staying with Traci. *smile* We did lots of fun things... like go to Dolphin Mall and SHOP and then to Publix... we went with Kat, Tish and Ali. Then yesterday we "pionged" Playstation 2. We played The Sims and Final Fantasy X.

Good morning people... and how are we all doing today?
Well... I am having a great day...after having a great weekend. *grin*
Before I go into details I just wanna wish Ms. Kimberly Chambers the happiest birthday ever. She's 22 today. If you go visit my archives you'll see what we did for Kimmy one year ago today. Cool huh? *smile* Anyway, big up yuhself Kimmy!
So... on Saturday night, Traci and I went out with a group of people for Traci's friend/Best Buddies leader - Kat's 21st birthday. Rich (Kat's friend from Britain) picked us up at around 9/9:30pm and took us to her apartment. Then we (Traci, me, Kat, Matt, Rich, Kelly and Jesse) all jumped into cars and drove down to University of Miami, where we parked and then jumped into a taxi to take us to the Grove (Coconut Grove for those that don't know). After looking for a place that did NOT card people we ended up going to Cheesecake Factory to eat. Man, was it EXCELLENT! I am still full. *burp*
Anyway, seeing as I've got to get back to my campus I should end my rambling right now. So... talk to y'all later!

Belated birthdays and beer...
So it's been a few days and I haven't written in my blog. Why? Well, I'm shopping around for new skin (blog skin that is) and so I'm a bit uninspired to write in a "boring" blog.
Anyway, I just want to shoutout Rojelle and Maelle and wish them a happy belated birthday. I love you 2 LOADS and I hope y'all had a great day. Next summer we'll celebrate (lol).
So Salintae (my roomie) and I "hosted" a lil party in our room last night... plenty alcohol and dancehall. It was good... this time I made sure I ate after I drank to avoid feeling sick this morning. It worked like a charm.
Anyway, I'm about to go lime for a bit before I go to sleep. Hopefully I'll make it to bed before 4am so I won't feel tired at work tomorrow (later really).

I am so worried... my home is about to succumb to the wrath of the category 4 hurricane, Ivan. I'm so nervous... it's a big hurricane and it's strong. It's not as big as Frances, thankfully, but it's freaking strong.
Please guys, pray for Jamaica and pray that it doesn't hit Florida... I can't bear to evacuate AGAIN.
Here's my prayer: Dear Lord, deliver us from the wrath of Ivan, please protect my family, friends and neighbours... please help Lord... please...

... I survived the wrath of that wretched Hurricane... FRANCES!
So... we had to evacuate campus on Thursday afternoon at 1pm. It was one mix up for me... at first I was supposed to stay at Abigail's house, then she didn't call me back so I decided to stay with Adrienne... then my parents didn't want Dreen and I to stay in her house by ourselves... so it was back to Abi's. Then Abi had to evacuate so I was homeless... and then Dr. Conley (my advisor) saved me!... and about 7 others. LOL.
Anyway, Cheraton, Salintae, Natasja, Rachel, Chante, Christina, Everica and I all ended up in Miami Lakes to "ride out" Frances with Dr. Conley. We had a banging time. *grin* We got back on campus today... and luckily found our things dry and intact. Thank God.
Anyway, I'm just happy that all my dormmates and friends are safe and sound. Also glad to know that Dan, Court and Suzanne are all safe in Nassau.
