T.G.I.F People! *grin*
Well... I have to say... last night was a simply fantastic night.
Why?
Even though I was attired in my work clothes... I still felt... somewhat fashionable. LOL
Why?
I stayed behind to attend the opening night for Pulse's Caribbean Fashion Week 2003. Remember what I was telling you about yesterday? Well... that very same thing.
It was mah-ve-lous dah-lings! Simply mah-ve-lous.
I was rubbing shoulders with the likes of 60's Diva - Melba Moore, Claudia Pegus, Romae Gordon, Kathryn Silvera - Miss Hype TV (lol), Miss Jamaica 1996 - Lisa Hanna and of course, Miss Universe 1998 - Our very own Wendy Fitz-Williams. *grin* (I still get excited everytime I remember the night she won)
We dined on shrimp and scallops while sipping on chardonnay, feasted our eyes on hard bodied male models and admired the fashions worn by the very slim models.
Yes, it was a great night.
And it got better. *grin* (didn't think so huh?) Kathryn, Nazene, Keisha, David and myself decided to "pass through" Peppers for Karaoke night. The company was good but the song choices were WHACK. *roll eyes* Some icky love songs from the 20's were being chosen.
Anyway, the night picked up when David sang "Sweet Dreams". That was fun.
Kat and I left at 12:55 approximately and I got home at 1am on the dot. Yes, Kathryn is a "Hype" girl, but she's also a speed racer.
And now... here I am at work... at 10:32am. I got here at 9:15. I don't need to go into details to explain that one. LOL
Talk to y'all later!
Ciao dah-lings! *muah*
